Low-Fat Whole Wheat Pancakes

These pancakes are great tasting and Alli friendly! I made them for breakfast and topped them with fruit. I perfected these whole wheat pancakes after testing batches and batches until they were just right. Everything a whole wheat pancake should be – fluffy, low-fat , and tasty!

Makes: 5 servings (1 serving=2 pancakes)

Low Fat Whole Wheat Pancakes


  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 tbs brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup apple sauce
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt 


  1. Mix all ingredients. Pre-heat griddle to 400*F and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Pour onto hot griddle using 1/4 cup measuring cup.
  3. When air bubbles pop, turn once.

Freezes well too!
